Product function

Mechanical tees provide a branch outlet on the main pipe. AJS710T uses a threaded outlet; AJS720G uses a grooved outlet.

Selection criteria

Specify main-pipe outside diameter and wall thickness separately from the branch size.

Check hole diameter, the gasket seating area around the hole and the branch connection standard.

Check actual pipe outside diameter, wall thickness and connection requirements. The same nominal size can correspond to different KS and ANSI outside diameters.

Review fluid, design pressure, temperature and gasket compatibility together.
