A suction diffuser for evaluating inlet-flow conditioning and debris management on the pump suction side. Review strainer service clearance and the piping connection arrangement.

Selection criteria

Provide design flow, allowable head loss and pump suction conditions.

Review access for strainer inspection and cleaning, drainage and support requirements.

Check actual pipe outside diameter, wall thickness and connection requirements. The same nominal size can correspond to different KS and ANSI outside diameters.
